Transcranial direct current stimulation in MDD

Results from a large RCT suggest that a combination of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS, anodal electrodes at left/cathodal at right prefrontal sites) and sertraline (50mg/die) increases the efficacy of both treatment approaches. See article at JAMA.
